The answer to this question is that when you buy a fridge for your kitchen, you usually get something that is fairly large and freestanding and includes a freezer. A bar fridge, on the other hand, is much smaller and may be designed to stand inside a liquor cabinet or any other type of drinks cupboard. Other varieties, on the other hand, are freestanding. If there is an electric socket nearby, cut a hole in the back of the cabinet and then you can attach the cord of the bar fridge to the socket behind. This is probably the neatest way to do it, without any wires sticking out. At the same time, you should make the hole as such that you can easily access the electric socket if you need to.
